The biggest closing party to date was held Thursday, July 29, in the library park. We drew winners from those who had completed the program. Bria Barker won the $50 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble, Jonathan Tate won a T-shirt, and Isaac Dean got a carrier bag full of cool stuff. Callie Whitcomb got 2 Webkins donated by Busherts. Wyatt Gerber and Juniper Adams took home a backpack full of prizes, and Jillian Stone won a T-shirt. Mitchell Uphoff took home a cool MP3 player.
 The Methodist Church, The Harvest Chapel, and The Friends of the Library set up booths for the kids to win prizes at. Thanks for their willingness to help and all their work! M&K Parties provided inflatable rides and a Big Splash game. 
A lot of wonderful people gave up their afternoon to help out with the rides and make snow cones and pass out ice cream. Thanks to all the Friends- Betty, Joan, and Jennifer. Thanks to library director Carla Skare. Thanks to my daughter.
